Arcobi is unlocking the capacity to do more with energy

In 2016, Alberta was reeling from the oil price collapse. Dan was working in power trading and kept noticing that for many large industrial and commercial operators, electricity sat near the top of their P&L, yet they had none of the market visibility traders use every day. Traders could see price and grid signals early and act. Operators were left reacting after the fact.
Arcobi (formerly Arcus Power) was built to close that gap. We started by making market data usable, then built proprietary forecasting models so customers could move before the market moved, and then added dispatch and control to turn intelligence into real actions on real assets. Our philosophy is built around Energy Expansion: using better visibility and better decisions to create capacity, flexibility, and room to grow. You save money, you operate more confidently, you electrify more, you scale without guessing, and you get more predictable scheduling that helps people get home on time. That mindset sets Arcobi apart, and it shows up in our position in the market too.

Results That Matter

25 Years in the Making
When Nrgstream launched in 1998, North American energy markets were mid-deregulation and largely uncharted. Most organizations were still building spreadsheets. We were building a data foundation — collecting sub-hourly prices, grid metrics, and market signals across every major trading hub on the continent. That work never stopped. In 2021, Arcus Power acquired Nrgstream, combining forecasting models and intelligence with the most comprehensive energy data repository in the industry. Today, that acquisition is the backbone of Arcobi — twenty-five years of uninterrupted market data, now part of a unified platform built to turn that data into decisions.
Company History

$1B+ in energy cost savings opportunities identified
Market intelligence has no value sitting in a database. Arcobi was built to surface what the data reveals — inefficiencies, optimization windows, and cost exposure that most organizations can't see without the right tools. The $1B+ in energy cost savings opportunities identified across our customer base reflects what happens when 25 years of market context meets real operational decisions.

Energy markets don't follow state lines, and neither do our customers. Arcobi covers every major ISO across North America, delivering consistent, normalized data regardless of where your assets operate or where your exposure sits. One platform. Full market visibility. No coverage gaps.

Behind every megawatt is an organization making decisions in real time
When to dispatch, when to curtail, when to hold. The 4.2 GW of load our customers actively manage through Arcobi reflects the scale of operational trust placed in the platform. That number grows as markets grow more complex and the cost of a bad decision compounds.
